Pyctom Labs Inc. runs pyctom.ca to show our 3D rendering work and to take project enquiries. This page sets out what we collect when you use it, why we hold it, and what you can ask us to do with it.
What information does Pyctom Labs collect?
Pyctom Labs collects the details you type into an enquiry form: your name, email address, phone number and project message, plus optional company, budget, timeline and project type. The site also records anonymous page analytics and your IP address for abuse protection.
Information you send us
Three forms on this site take enquiries: the one on the contact page, a short one in the footer of every page, and a quote form in the sidebar of each article. They share one set of fields, and only the first four are required.
Your name, so we know who we are writing back to.
Your email address, which is where the reply goes.
Your phone number, because the team often follows up by phone.
Your message, including anything you tell us about the project.
Optionally: your company, an indicative budget, a timeline and a project type.
Nothing else is asked for and there is no account to create. If you send us drawings, CAD files or reference images later in a conversation, those arrive by email and are covered by the same terms as the rest of the enquiry.
Information collected automatically
Every page loads Vercel Analytics and Vercel Speed Insights. Both measure how pages are used and how quickly they load. Both are designed to work without cookies and without building a profile of an individual visitor, and neither gives us a way to identify you. When you submit a form, the server reads your IP address so it can count how many submissions have come from one place in the last few minutes. That count is held in the memory of the server handling the request and is never written to a file or a database. It disappears when the server restarts.
Why does Pyctom Labs use your information?
We use enquiry details to answer your question, quote the work and run the project. Analytics tell us which pages people use so we can improve them. Your IP address is used only to slow down automated form abuse.
There is no fourth purpose. We do not build advertising audiences, we do not run retargeting, and we do not enrich your details against a third party database.
If you become a client, the same details are used to deliver the work described in your quote. What happens on a live project is governed by the terms of service and by whatever you and Pyctom Labs signed.
Does pyctom.ca use cookies or tracking pixels?
No. This website sets no cookies of its own, runs no advertising pixels and loads no third party trackers. The analytics it does use are cookieless by design, which is why you are not asked to accept a cookie banner.
Your browser may still store things this site never sees, such as your preference for a light or dark colour scheme. That preference is read from your operating system and is not sent anywhere.
Who else can see the information you send?
Two service providers handle it in passing: Hostinger runs the mailboxes your enquiry is delivered to, and Vercel hosts the site and provides analytics. Nobody else receives your details. Pyctom Labs does not sell, rent or trade personal information.
Enquiries are sent as ordinary email through Hostinger's (opens in a new tab) mail servers, which host the pyctom.ca mailboxes. Vercel hosts this website and serves every page you load. Both are processors acting on our instructions rather than parties with an independent interest in your details.
An enquiry is delivered to more than one person at the studio and at the team that supports it, so that a message is not lost when somebody is away. Everyone on that list works on Pyctom Labs projects.
Both providers operate infrastructure outside Canada, so your enquiry may be processed in another country and may be subject to the laws of that country. If that matters for your project, tell us before you send anything sensitive and we will arrange another route.
We will also disclose information where the law requires it, for example in response to a valid order from a court or regulator.
How long is your information kept?
Enquiry emails stay in our inbox for as long as we may reasonably need them for the enquiry or the client relationship, and project records for as long as tax and business law requires. Ask us to delete yours and we will.
Analytics data is aggregated and holds nothing that identifies you, so there is nothing in it to delete. The IP address used for rate limiting is gone within minutes and is never stored.
How is your information protected?
Every page and every form submission travels over HTTPS. The site sends strict security headers, validates all form input on the server, and throttles repeat submissions. Access to the enquiry inbox is limited to the people who answer it.
Forms carry a hidden field that a person never sees and never fills in. Automated submissions usually do fill it, and those are discarded. It costs you nothing, unlike a puzzle that asks you to identify traffic lights.
No website can promise perfect security, and this page will not pretend otherwise. What we can say is that the number of places your details travel through has been kept as small as the site can function with.
What rights do you have over your information?
Under Canadian privacy law you can ask what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, and withdraw a consent you gave earlier. Email us and we will answer within 30 days.
Send requests to info@pyctom.ca (opens in a new tab). We may ask you to confirm your identity first, so that we do not hand somebody else your enquiry.
If you are not satisfied with how we handle a request, you can raise it with the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada (opens in a new tab), which oversees the federal private sector privacy law that applies to us.
Does this site collect information from children?
No. Pyctom Labs sells 3D rendering services to businesses and property owners, and this site is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under the age of majority in their province.
If you believe a child has sent us personal information, email us and we will delete it.
How will you know if this policy changes?
The effective date at the top of this page changes whenever the policy does. Substantial changes, such as a new service provider handling your details, will be described here rather than folded in silently.
We do not email past enquirers about policy changes, because holding an address in order to send notices about a policy would itself be a use of your details you did not ask for.
How do you contact Pyctom Labs about privacy?
Email info@pyctom.ca with "Privacy" in the subject line and the request will reach the person who handles it. You can also use the contact form, though email is faster for anything about your own data.

Privacy FAQs
Does Pyctom Labs sell my personal information?
No. We do not sell, rent or trade personal information, and we do not share it with advertisers or data brokers. The only third parties that touch it are the email and hosting providers that make the site work.
Are the drawings and files I send kept confidential?
Yes. Project files are used to quote and produce your work and are not shared outside the team working on it. If you need a signed confidentiality agreement before sending anything, ask and we will sign one.
Can I ask you to delete my enquiry?
Yes. Email info@pyctom.ca and we will delete the enquiry and any files attached to it, unless we are required to keep a record for tax or legal reasons. We will tell you if that applies.
Do I need an account to use pyctom.ca?
No. There is no sign up, no login and no password on this website. Everything on it is readable without identifying yourself, and the only information you give us is what you choose to type into a form.
Does this site show me ads or track me across other websites?
No. There are no advertising scripts, no social media pixels and no cross-site trackers on pyctom.ca. The analytics we use measure page views and load speed in aggregate and cannot follow you elsewhere.
